”Where do I even start? It was such a gift to have found you and even more special to have met you in person after only having spoken from afar being a destination elopement. As I sit here reflecting on the day, I can’t help but feel so overwhelmingly grateful. I knew you were good, but my goodness never did I expect the devotion you gave us. You felt like a close friend of many years in the lead up and on the day. You were truely so authentically yourself, absolutely fun, thoughtful and are incredibly talented. You helped me plan, piece together the surprise and scope out the location in the lead up. On the day, you made us feel so comfortable, calmed our nerves with your commentary, made us laugh and brought out our best most loved up selves for the camera. It was so so special to have had you shoot our intimate day. Until we meet again soon,

It was such a joy to travel down to airlie beach for Rhi & Harry’s surprise elopement. When Rhi got in touch that she said they were trying to plan a small surprise wedding on their family holiday in Airlie Beach, I was SO keen to capture it for them!

I loved so much about this morning. I love that it was so unapologetically them. It was small and intimate but still had all the extra razzle dazzle of a wedding! The vibes were high, as they should be!

We woke early and had a first look at sunrise, after which we got some photos and video and went off on an adventure with the pair for a couple of hours. Once that was done, we returned to make it official at their mid-morning Ceremony back at Yangaro Resort.

Afterwards celebrations continuied in the form of a champagne breakfast, complete with a champagne tower (of course!) and a cake made of cheese (yum!)

Loved the chance to do videography in the Whitsundays with these two legends - what a backdrop!
