Milly & Joel's Elopement

Arriving to Little Cove just prior to Milly & Joel’s Ceremony had my jaw dropping to the floor! The florals from Wynne were next level, the perfect addition to finish off the backdrop Little Cove offers overlooking the ocean with the palm trees. What I loved about this set-up is that the amazing team from Port Douglas Weddings & Hire had all the styling and florals set nice and early, so when I arrived half an hour prior to the Ceremony I was able to get stuck straight into capturing some beautiful shots of the styling & get the drone up before guests began to arrive. I don’t always get this luxury of time between the Ceremony space being set & guests arriving, and it’s often a rush, so I got super lucky & had lots of fun capturing every little detail of those colourful blooms.
With a small group of immediate family present for the Ceremony, Milly' & Joel spoke their beautiful vows, laughed & teared up throughout. After the official part was done, they enjoyed pouring their champagne tower (why not!?). Grandma may or may not have been caught in the splash zone of a bottle spray and everyone grabbed a glass of champagne to toast to the newlyweds!
I then spent some time with Kaylee from The Seitter Woodhouse exploring the area with our couple in tow, getting so many dreamy shots. We were lucky to have one of the best days of weather I saw in 2024! We were blessed with a beautiful breeze, clear skies and a purple pastel sunset to finish. Before we dropped the lovers off at their low-key dinner for the Reception, we stopped by Scoops Gelato for a cheeky ice cream to finish off the day. SUCH a (delicious) vibe!
